INFLUENCE AND LEAD

Leadership guru, John Maxwell, believes that leadership is influence and that everything rises and falls on leadership.  “If you wouldn’t follow yourself, why would anybody else want to follow you?” he asks.  Maxwell continues, “Leadership is a visual responsibility and a visual act.  We attract who we are.  Too many leaders are like travel agents—they send people where they have never been before.  They haven’t flushed it out and they haven’t lived it.  People don’t want to follow your finger…they want to follow you.   Let’s all be educators who influence and lead!
